Rachelle Cunningham has a deep love for all that has to do with creating a character within the world of fashion, having studied fashion history, and textiles in university, she loves to bring this into her work. Which translates into these Fashion Paintings she is known for. Having painted a few for several brands as well as selling them with her own personal work. She enjoys exploring the notion of fashion, as relics and trying to express that in a more abstract medium by merging water based materials mixed with dry textural ones to create this more expressive spontaneous gestural works that are rich in texture something that can be found in all her work.
